Transportation Policy
In addition to these contributions to the
railroad industry, staff and associates of
TranSys Research Ltd. are recognized as a
source of objective and knowledgeable expertise
on transportation policy and legislative
issues. They have provided major research
input to each national transportation commission
over the past two decades, notably the Royal
Commission on Passenger Transportation in
Canada, the National Transportation Act Review
Commission and most recently, the Railway
Safety Act Review Committee. In 1993-94,
TranSys Research Ltd.'s president Mr. Gordon
English, served as the Director of Research
for the Commission reviewing the effectiveness
of the Canadian Transportation Accident Investigation
and Safety Board Act.
